You must remember, when there is a seller, there is a buyer, otherwise, no trading will occur. Look at the volume when it dropped last August 24 Wednesday, and as posted as the link below, it will just zoom. The number is always equal. ( sellers/buyers)It takes only one buyer of a large amount of stock to drive up the price even though there might be a large number of sellers.
