The Art of Tape Reading

One good thing about tape reading and Trend Following, short waiting time. Price entry does not matter, as I always said, if you buy and have profit, "hold" and just wait for danger signals. If you buy and the price goes against you, ' Sell", do not hope. It may go sideways for a long time or worst, it may drop further.

Nobody knows the top or bottom for sure, just trade and let the market tell you if you are right or wrong, not you telling the market what to do. You have no control over that.

Trend following is very simple, no chart, no news, no FA, just the price and you, it is simple to use, but very difficult to follow, because in reality, you would be going against yourself. It is you who would decide to buy and sell. You would either be greedy or fearful.

" The Greatest Tipster of them all is the Tape ". Livermore
